Beyond Proud to be a part of the Classic Cycling Women's Team!
From a personal stance, last week really made me think about what I was doing. My confidence was down after I entered my first Crit and crashed. I really wasn't sure I'd ever race Crit again, though I blogged that I would. After receiving a ton of positive messages from my teammates we can fast forward to a happier ending! One week later, I found myself leading laps, Danielle and I both won the prime laps and proudly led my team out from the bell lap so our girls could sprint to the Omnium win for Sarah and a podium for Danielle! And I finished 5th!!! As selfish as I am right now about how big of a day this was for me personally I can't help but absolutely adore the "team first" mentality among my teammates.
This team is super strong and the real definition of a team. Thank you for seeing something in me..something in all of us, Shane Martin! We are proud to wear the green and black!
